Keep the name, contact information, and links as live text. A logo adds personality; the content should still work when images are hidden.

Tracking pixels, explained

A tiny pixel.
A bigger conversation.

An image request is a signal with limits. Understand the difference between a recorded event and a person’s attention before you decide what to measure.

Understand open tracking

01. Understand the request

Learn how a remote image becomes an event and what infrastructure is required.

02. Account for uncertainty

Consider image proxies, prefetching, blocked images, and automated activity.

03. Choose useful outcomes

Define what success means and collect only the information the decision needs.

Beyond the inbox

Same identity.
Different contexts.

Carry the recognizable details across email, chat, community profiles, and a link-in-bio page. Adapt the format to each destination.

A few good questions

Start with
the essentials.

Short answers to the signature and tracking questions that come up first.

Have a topic suggestion?
What is a signature API?

A signature API can create or manage a contact block from structured data. Rendering HTML, changing mailbox settings, and sending an email are separate steps. Our architecture guide explains how they fit together.

How is a tracking pixel different from an email signature?

The signature is the visible contact block. A tracking pixel is a small remote image whose request can be recorded by a tracking service. A signature can work without a pixel; adding an image alone does not create an analytics system.

Does an email open mean the message was read?

An open event generally records a tracking-image request. Prefetching, proxies, blocking, and caching can change that signal. Use the open tracking guide to understand the limits before making decisions.

Can I use JavaScript inside an email signature?

Keep the exported signature to static HTML, CSS, and appropriate images. JavaScript can help build or preview a signature in a web application, but the recipient should not need to run it. See the JavaScript integration guide.

Do Telegram, forums, and TikTok support the same signature?

They offer different profile fields, formatting options, and link rules. Reuse the identity and message, then adapt the format. Our platform guide explains a practical approach.

Where should I start?

For a personal signature, start with email signature design. For a team or developer workflow, read the API overview. The resource library connects the full reading paths.
